(this Is A Question For People Who Live In Nashville And Like Live Music)…?
Ok I’m in the army and getting out kind of soon. Anyways, I’m tossing the idea of moving to a large city when I go back because I’m really into playing rock music. There’s not much of a music scene at all back where I’m originally from in Kentucky so that’s why I want to move somewhere else.
What’s the music scene like in Nashville? Are there a lot of rock clubs?

the main music genre that gets hype here is country. it’s pretty annoying

What? There’s tons of rock here. On any given night there is loud music at the Exit/In, Mercy Lounge or Cannery Ballroom, 5 Spot, sometime the Belcourt Theatre. There’s a ton of singer sonwriter and honky tonk, too, but plenty of good stuff!
