Nashville Public Radio buys Vanderbilt radio station

Vanderbilt University ‘s storied student radio station, WRVU, has been sold to Nashville Public Radio, which will transform it to an all-classical format, broadcasting as Classical 91.1. The $3.35 million sale allows Vanderbilt Student Communications to retain the WRVU name and to switch to an all-online format.
